The kayak also comes with a detachable rudder system that can assist with paddling against stronger currents and winds.
If you need to chuck out a rod there are 4 slide rail fishing attachment points on the deck and two installed rod holder locations and a free centre rod holder which can be detached if needed.

This replaced my previous sit on which had been very well used.
Nice design, comfortable, slightly heavier to load on the roof on my own, but I'm getting the knack!

Recently purchased the Voyager 1 plus1 sit on top touring leisure kayak from Cambridge Kayaks - what a piece of kit this is - from adjustable foot pegs which are then used to change direction with a rudder, loads of storage space, sturdy and comfortable seat, oars, the lot - everything you need to get out there and have fun! Can't fault Cambridge Kayaks customer service who help every step of the way - absolute piece of kit this is! Love it!
Richard was very helpful in his email responses, suggesting what kayak would be best for my needs and delivery was super quick and item wasn’t damaged at all. Have used once and I am very please with it.
Not yet tried on the sea, but on lake was very surprised how well it handled. Very pleased with the construction, fittings etc and consider I have made a good purchase.
To be honest, I was a bit concerned when it arrived. It was a lot bigger and heavier than expected. I thought I could get it on and off the roof bars, and into the water myself. In reality, that's a two-person job.
I was starting to wonder if I'd ordered the right boat to be honest.
And then I got it onto the water!
It's a dream when it's on the water!!!
I can see myself having a lot of fun!!
