Quite heavy so needs two people or a trolley to get to the water! Had a few fab outings with it though!
Bought one of these a couple of weeks ago and have since had a week on the Norfolk Broads and a day drip down our local river (Yorkshire Derwent). Overall very happy with the Canoe/Kayak.
It seems pretty sturdily built and as others have said it is quite heavy so be aware. We find a wheeled cart is essential for transportation.
Paddling is pretty straightforward, as expected it suffers a little in strong crosswinds but nothing that can't be handled. Picked up a few scratches, but again nothing you would not expect from its construction.
My only niggles would be that the rear seat could do with being adjustable to allow storage behind and the seat backs don't lock when folded, which is a pain when loading (a bungee will hold them in place).
Delivery was very fast but I would have preferred pick up, tried to arrange but they said they weren't open weekends, despite saying "7 days a week by prior arrangement" on the items description. It also says "Two lightweight kayak paddles, or we can swap for canoe paddles" but I was supplied with Kayak paddles despite requesting canoe paddles on order form and email. So service was a little poor on these points.
Lovely canoe. Very comfortable and lots of storage area.
Downside. Am having to return it and get a single as my daughter ( has Cerebral Palsy) just finds it too hard to get in and out. Will call tomorrow re returns process.
We couldn’t be more pleased with this kayak it’s incredibly comfortable easy to clean and manoeuvre’s very well. Great speedy delivery would highly recommend Cambridge kayaks
Not used yet but good delivery time slot, well packaged item. Seats fold down, only comment on that is there’s no clip to keep them down for transport. Overall pleased so far looking forward to testing it out!
