My wife and I were looking for a couple of kayaks and as we only had a certain budget for the boats and all the accessories we opted for the Cambridge Kayaks Quest. To be honest I wasn’t expecting anything spectacular for the low price we paid compared to other similar kayaks. But OH MY GOODNESS!!! Was I surprised!
The quality of the kayak is excellent, the accessories that came with the package are perfect and the price is, as the title says, excellent value.
Now… both my wife and I are novice paddlers, so we needed something that is pretty stable and these are stable. Don’t go leaning over the side as you will get a tad damp, but you don’t have to stay so rigid that you get uncomfortable.
We have to date only had two outings with a total of 6 hours paddling and are heading out again today to try another stretch of the River Medway, and we’ve loved every minute.
In summary, excellent value, great fun, highly recommended product and company. Oh I nearly forgot to mention the after sales support. As a novice I have questions and when using the site chat I was answered in a complete way and felt that this company really cares about its customers. So yes I shall be buying from Cambridge Kayaks again when I have a need.
