Privacy Policy
Cambridge Kayaks East Limited does not disclose buyers' information to third parties, except when necessary for order fulfilment. In such cases, the third party will not share these details further.
Making a Purchase
Shopping with us is simple:
- Browse our store and add items to your cart.
- Click 'Checkout' and provide the necessary details.
- We accept Visa and Mastercard. Payment is not charged until the item is ready to ship.
Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may submit your payment details via phone, fax, mail, or online.
Order confirmation indicates receipt of your order but does not establish a contract. A contract is only formed upon invoice issuance. If there is a pricing error or a product becomes unavailable, we will contact you before proceeding.
Shipping & Delivery
Postage: Charged at cost or less for most mainland postcodes. Some areas (e.g., BT postcodes, offshore islands) may incur surcharges—please contact us for a quote.
Delivery Time: Orders are typically delivered within 1–3 business days.
Transporting kayaks can be challenging due to their size, which makes delivery difficult. As a result, minor scuffs may occur—nothing beyond what would naturally happen during first use. If you prefer to avoid this, please contact us to arrange collection.
Upon delivery, please inspect your kayak thoroughly. If you notice any issues, report them to us immediately and inform the delivery driver. Where relevant, please photograph any damage.
All damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. Reports made outside this timeframe will not be covered under warranty.
Credit Card Security
Credit card details are encrypted using 128-bit encryption and only decrypted upon reaching our system. They are never stored in plain text.
Payment via Klarna
We offer Klarna’s 'Pay in 3' option. For full details, please refer to Klarna’s user terms.

Liability for Injuries
Cambridge Kayaks does not accept responsibility for any accidents or injuries resulting from the use of our products.

Returns & Refunds
- Cooling-Off Period: You may cancel or return your order within 30 days of receiving the product for a full refund. The item must be unused and returned in its original packaging. Click here to arrange a return.
- Faulty or Incorrect Items: Notify us at sales@cambridgekayaks.co.uk within 3 working days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund.
- Refund Processing: Refunds are issued within 24 hours of confirmation, though they may take up to 5 working days to appear in your account.

Cancellation Charges:
- 2.5% processing fee (4.8% for Klarna orders) for cancelled items.
- £50 restocking fee per kayak for returned items.
- Collection charges apply if we arrange pickup.

Scuffs & Cosmetic Marks
While we take care in packaging, minor cosmetic marks may occur during transit. These do not affect performance, durability, or safety. The only way to guarantee an unmarked kayak is to collect it from our warehouse.
