The kayak comes with a small hatch at the front which is for storing keys, phone and sweets, whilst your dry bags can be stowed away in the hatch at the rear of the kayak. Bungee cords at the front offer more storage options, whilst rod holders, behind the seat, give you the option to fish too!

I collected my Herring kayak last week. Richard was very helpful and informative about the kayak.
I was originally looking for a sit on top kayak because I wanted something stable but when I saw the Herring fell in love with it.
The kayak tracks very well and cuts though the water really nicely but is also incredibly stable. It ticked all the boxes.
I am really pleased with the Herring and would recommend.

Great customer service from Cambridge kayaks
Very happy with my new kayak, and I love the camouflaged markings too. Well equipped and stable. My only complaint would be the delivery which I paid £39.99 for. I needed to temporarily store it in my flat, however it would not fit in the lift (my bad). The two fit young men in their 20s refused to help me carry it up to my flat on the 5th floor, so I had to drag it up the stairs myself and I'm nearly 60. I wasn't expecting them to do it alone and told them so, instead I just wanted a hand. They said their delivery company had a rule of 1 flight of stairs - however this was stated nowhere on any of the literature I had received from them, or from Cambridge Kayaks. Also, 1 flight of stairs is strange, because many 1st floor properties have stairs which double back or go round corners, so will have 2 flights of stairs to get up one floor - in this case, even if I had been a first floor flat, they would not have helped as there are 2 flights of stairs per floor. I wondered if they just made that up because they didn't want to help. Anyway, good company, good kayak, but delivery service was lazy and couldn't be bothered and left me stranded with a big heavy kayak to drag up 5 floors by myself which took nearly an hour and a lot of sweat. Would have given 5 stars otherwise.
Excellent kayak and service
Ordered a herring kayak for my first ever kayak. It looks great! also ordered a cover but ordered small. I messaged the team to ask what size and they advised it needs a medium. They kindly switched the order with no trouble at all. The Kayak then arrived 3 days later. Good service speedy delivery all I need to do is get out in it !
