first kayak

this was our first kayak having hired an inflatable one recently. it's fantastic, fare easier to handle than the inflatable one we hired. we treated ourselves to a trolly which made moving it about far easier and saves lugging it between portages. delivery was onetime and no hasstle

Great purchase and a friendly team

We bought our Sunfish double kayak a few weeks ago and have been out every week on the river. We emailed and spoke to the team at Cambridge kayaks a few times before purchasing and they were friendly, informative and happy to help answer our questions.

Delivery was arranged for a day that suited us, and the guys who delivered were friendly and moved the kayak to where we wanted it stored.

The Kayak performs well and is excellent value, as good as many other more expensive kayaks I have used / rented previously.

We are using the kayak for longer trips now, the seats are comfortable and the paddles are great for calm water, but perhaps worth upgrading for rivers with stronger currents or longer journeys.

The sunfish easily accommodated me and one of the kids (10 & 11), good storage for each paddler, and also at the rear. We don’t use for fishing but there are plenty of accessories if that’s what you want to do.

All in all a great purchase from a helpful team, looking forward to many years of happy paddling.
