This is the second kayak I have purchased. The first was for me and my little man sat on the kayak and we had many adventures….. on our most recent one he took the double ended paddle and steered our kayak like a champion ship captain…. At this point I was ready to buy his own. So I did…. The advert for the kayak suggested it came with a single paddle, so I bought an extra double paddle, as my experienced (lol) 5 year old said that’s what he wanted. This was a near to £30 expense but I did it. When the kayak arrived, very promptly and in amazing condition, I was presented with two double paddles. So I had no need to purchase the second. Knowing Cambridge Kayaks if I had said what had happened, I am sure they would have refunded me. But what’s an extra double paddle between friends. The only thing I would ask in future is to make sure the younger persons kayaks come with a double paddle.
In short he did amazing and if Cambridge kayaks want a video of an absolute trooper at 5 smashing a canal trip let me know.
I’ve recommended Cambridge kayaks to everyone I see on the canal or at the pub by the canal where we go. I think the prices are great and the product/delivery/service is awesome.
