Kayak Lead Time
For most deliveries, the lead time is between 1-3 working days. However, certain areas, such as parts of Scotland, may have longer delivery times.

Kayak Tracking and Contact
Once your kayak is dispatched, we provide a tracking link and the courier's contact details for any delivery inquiries.

Kayak Shipping & Delivery

Transporting kayaks can be challenging due to their size, which makes delivery difficult. As a result, minor scuffs may occur—nothing beyond what would naturally happen during first use. If you prefer to avoid this, please contact us to arrange collection.

Upon delivery, please inspect your kayak thoroughly. If you notice any issues, report them to us immediately and inform the delivery driver. Where relevant, please photograph any damage.

All damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. Reports made outside this timeframe will not be covered under warranty.

APC Small Item Order Deliveries
If you have ordered a small item, you will have been provided with an APC tracking number to monitor your delivery through the APC system.

Privacy Policy
Cambridge Kayaks East Limited does not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any details to any other third party.

Making a Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Simply browse our store and add any items you wish to buy into the shopping cart. Once you have finished your selection, click 'Checkout' and you will be asked for the details needed to complete your order.

We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until dispatched. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, post, or the Internet.

When you receive order confirmation, this indicates that we have received your order but does not establish a contract. A contract is formed once we send you an invoice. This term protects us in cases of pricing errors, under-pricing, or the inability to supply a product. In the event of a price change, we will always contact you first to ensure the price is acceptable.

Shipping and Handling

Postage is charged at cost or less for most mainland postcodes. However, some areas incur a surcharge from our carriers. For all BT postcodes and offshore islands, including the Isle of Wight, please call for a quote.

Delivery Schedule

We aim to deliver your order as soon as possible. Orders are normally dispatched within 2-5 business days.

Credit Card Security

When an order is placed on our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128-bit encryption. They are only decrypted upon reaching our system and are not stored in clear text on any website.

Returns Policy

Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy

If you change your mind about a purchase, you may cancel the order or return the item within 30 days of receiving the product (the "Cooling-Off Period"). A full refund of the product price will be issued in accordance with our refund policy below.

The product must be returned in its original packaging, unused, and in saleable condition within 30 days.

If a product is faulty upon arrival or incorrect, we will either:

  • Replace or repair the item, or
  • Issue a full refund, provided you notify us in writing at sales@cambridgekayaks.co.uk within 3 working days of delivery.

To cancel an order, email sales@cambridgekayaks.co.uk, and we will provide return instructions. If your order has not yet shipped, cancellation is free of charge. If you have already received your order, you must return the item at your own cost and risk, unless the product was incorrect.

You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the product while in your possession. If the item is returned in a damaged or unsaleable condition, we may deduct a portion of the refund to cover the loss.

Refunds will be issued using the original payment method once the product has been inspected, usually within 30 days of receiving the return.

Refund Processing Time
All refunds are processed within 24 hours of confirmation. Depending on the payment provider, refunds may take up to 5 working days to appear in your account.

Refunds for cancelled items will carry a 2.5% processing charge (or 4.8% if purchased via Klarna). If items have left our warehouse, please review our return terms.

Kayak collections are charged at the same rate as delivery. Due to the size and nature of this product, there is a £50 restocking and handling charge per kayak, in addition to collection and processing fees.

  • Store delivery addresses if the address book feature is used.
  • Store details if the 'Remember Me' option is selected.
