Great straps

These are great, good quality straps, and the rubber coating means you wont dent or scrap your car. although lockable, and will prevent opportunist type removal of your kayak, or indeed theft of the straps themselves. Obviously they wont prevent concerted efforts with a blade to cut the straps, although they apparently have strengthening within the strap itself to reduce this as well..
I also use these to secure the kayaks in storage, on the covered racks at home. I'm not in a position to comment on whether they are suitable for long term exposure to the British weather, but they appear to be fairly robust and well made.

Lockable strap

Very good product. Very robust , presumably a Kevlar type fibre within the strap , lock-ins easy . Won’t be easy to cut through

A bit more security

I previously used regular style cam straps but found myself rather paranoid when parked at services or restaurants on journeys. These definitely ease up that concern quite a bit.

The cables running through the strap seem sturdy but they don't affect the normal use too much either.

My only gripe is that you can't tighten them on the fly without unlocking them first (a feature some of the more expensive versions have) but they definitely do the job and are excellent value.
