We bought the 2-person Pioneer for our cottage on a lake. It’s really good for beginners, great colour, easily loaded into a roof rack or into the water by 2 people. We found it really easy to manoeuvre on the water and was great value for money. The only (small) drawback is that the scupper holes are too small to use for locking it up with a cable, and we had to enlarge one of the holes ourselves.

I wish I had checked it was suitable for those over 6' ! Because At 6'3" the longest leg/ foot rests are too close, so it's uncomfortable to sit and paddle .. boring .. kayak is good as it's light and short .. handy to sling on custom "Diagonal "kayak rack I've built on back of Hymer motorhome so overall height stays under 3m
