We need our kayak in a bit of a hurry, so we contacted Cambridge kayaks and had a conversation over the phone rather than the interweb which I hate ordering with.
The guy we spoke to was very helpful both with the sale and answering other questions we had.
Now he made no false promises that it would be here on time, but as I said we were under time pressure but he said they would do their best.
Well the kayak got here on time and it was straight on top of the car and away we went.
The boss and I had 3 days paddling on loch Sunart, a sea loch on the west of Scotland and had an amazing time.
Although I have paddled before, she who must be obeyed hadn't. But after a few hours we both settled into it and got the rods down and had a blast, paddling and fishing.
Right enough of my waffling
This is what I call customer service.
We did have a slight issue when the kayak arrived, (things happen) but it's how a company deals with these issues that portray to me how good or bad they are.
I have to say that Cambridge kayaks listened and didn't hesitate in resolving this issue, so ye great customer service.
Iv also left a similar revenue for them on trusted pilot.
If I ever need anything more, kayak related, Cambridge will be my first port of call.
